How we help

Everything under one roof

We specialise in finding rental and purchase properties, managing the entire process for individuals and families and liaising with everyone involved on both sides of the agreement — keeping all parties informed throughout.

We frequently support solicitors and case managers who need to house clients in suitable, accessible accommodation. For clients in litigation-based disability cases — including personal injury and clinical negligence — we manage the full property pathway.

We understand that finding the right disability property can be complicated. Between meeting clinical and access needs, planning adaptations, securing rental accommodation, and completing a purchase, there is a lot to coordinate.

We invest time in understanding each client’s requirements and lifestyle, using deep market experience to identify somewhere they can be fully independent and truly call home.

Our work does not stop when we find a suitable property. We negotiate on your behalf and deliver a level of service expected of senior property specialists — keeping every party updated while we secure terms in the client’s best interest.

We take the stress out of what can be a complex process at a difficult time. This is our everyday focus; our teams are experts across these areas so you do not have to carry the weight alone.

Accessible homes to rent

Short to mid-term solutions

To Rent

Accessible homes to rent

We are regularly asked to find accessible rental properties. The journey to buy and adapt a disability-friendly home can leave clients in limbo; securing rented accommodation that meets clinical requirements is often exceptionally difficult.

Many agents and landlords are unfamiliar with how a tenant with a disability funds a tenancy or how their position is protected. Alongside managing the search, we negotiate on your behalf — working constructively with agents and landlords to agree terms that allow any necessary changes.

No two rental agreements are identical, so we treat each tenancy individually — whether a six-month contract or a five-year commitment. With our property expertise, renting becomes a viable short to mid-term route for your client.

Accessible homes to purchase

Beyond bedroom counts

To purchase

Accessible homes to purchase

Some landlords, vendors, and estate agents overlook the specific needs of people with disabilities — search filters often emphasise bedroom numbers rather than step-free access, wheelchair turning space, level thresholds, wide circulation space, or accessible bathrooms.

Our experience in the disability homes sector helps us locate suitable properties and deliver a full property report setting out strengths and limitations. For every home we present, we summarise how it measures up against your client’s needs — considering price, location, size, suitability and modification potential, personal requirements, routine, schooling, family dynamics, and the fabric of the property itself.

We work collaboratively so clients are involved at every stage, from start to finish. We also manage negotiation and the purchase process so agents and vendors understand the transaction — a critical step so vendors do not withdraw because steps have been missed.

Reporting

Evidence-led property reports

Our report is prepared in close collaboration with you to reflect your client’s specific needs. After receiving your brief — for example on size, location, style, and price — we begin the formal search.

We combine experience, contacts, and our database to identify accessible properties with appropriate floor space and facilities, or properties that can be successfully adapted.

We have produced a large number of such reports for firms and case managers. They have proved invaluable both within court proceedings and in securing practical housing outcomes as quickly as possible.

What our search and report can include

N

Initial desk research: online screening followed by outreach through our trusted network.

N

Local market coverage: contacting estate agents across the agreed area.

N

Targeted viewings: attending properties with OTs, support workers, and clients where appropriate (according to the level of service commissioned).

N

Formal reporting: a detailed submission on suitable or potentially adaptable accessible properties.

Hospital discharge planning

We can provide a report to identify properties that could meet your client’s needs and support discharge from hospital as soon as they are medically fit to return to the community — where a return to the previous home is not viable.

Costs for insurers & the court

We can outline suitable options and summarise the likely costs of securing an accessible home for your client — informing you, other parties in proceedings, the court, and relevant insurers.

Adapting

Adaptation & project delivery

We also offer a structured package providing expert guidance on adaptation and modification where required — working with independent occupational therapists, architects, and builders. Project management services are available where appropriate.

To provide accurate cost quotations, we need to agree the project objectives against scope, requirements, and schedule.

Practical note. Clear briefs and realistic timelines help us quote professionally and keep every stakeholder aligned from survey to completion.

Working together

Solicitors, deputies, case managers
& occupational therapists

We have a long, proven track record of building strong working relationships with solicitors, deputies, case managers, and occupational therapists. We are proud to operate across the disability property sector.

We keep momentum through the search, purchase, adaptation, or build — maintaining consistent contact with all parties delivering continuity from instruction through to handover.

From day one we establish open communication, with roles and responsibilities agreed so everyone is aligned in the best interests of the client.
